Nashville interior designer Julie Couch is known for creating curated, collected homes—artful and sophisticated spaces that draw you in, with just the right balance of drama and whimsy. Founded in 2005, Julie Couch Interiors is a boutique design firm specializing in new construction, renovations, and full-service interior design projects. Julie works closely with homeowners from start to finish, thoughtfully shaping spaces that reflect her clients’ lifestyles while adding personality, value, and luxurious comfort to every home.

Julie’s work has earned national recognition. She was named a Rising Star of Design by Traditional Home magazine in 2015, selected as one of just ten designers across the United States, and was a finalist for ADAC’s 2022 Southeastern Designer of the Year. Projects by Julie Couch Interiors have been featured in numerous national and regional publications, including Traditional Home, Country Living, Southern Home, Nashville Lifestyles, and The Cottage Journal, among others.

Julie has shared her design expertise on television through appearances on HGTV, DIY Network, and The Design Network. After working on several shows, The Design Network created Design Science specifically for Julie—a completely ad-lib series designed to showcase her insight and expertise. Through the show, she shared practical design advice, specific tips, and creative solutions for creating interiors that are both beautiful and highly functional. She also hosted her own short-format series, Welcome Y’all, which debuted last year.

Julie lives just south of Nashville in Brentwood, Tennessee, with her husband Mark and their two children, Gus and Marlowe. When not designing, she draws inspiration from art, travel, and the everyday beauty of home.
